About Param
Param Grewal, born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, is the son of North West Bulk Carriers’ founder, Sukhdeep Grewal. Param started North West Bulk Carriers in 2016, bringing a fresh perspective to the family business. As the Vice President of Operations and Sales, he plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and ensuring operational excellence.
Param’s deep-rooted connection to the trucking industry began in his childhood, growing up around the business his father built. This early exposure cultivated a passion that eventually led him back to the industry after completing his education. Param studied law and graduated from Bond University in 2015, equipping him with a strong foundation in legal and business principles that he leverages in his current role.

After earning his law degree from Bond University, Param decided to channel his expertise and passion into expanding North West Bulk Carriers. His leadership and innovative approach have been instrumental in the company’s success, making him a key figure in its continued growth and development.
